Shipping Policy

Last updated: 3 February 2026

This Shipping Policy explains how delivery works for orders placed with SW2 Creative. As we operate on a made-to-order, business-to-business basis, shipping arrangements vary depending on the type of order and route agreed.

Business customers only

SW2 Creative supplies goods to business customers only. This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed in the course of business.

Overprinted orders (UK-printed stock)

Overprinted orders are printed in the UK using stock bags and delivered from the UK.

  • Typical lead time: around 2 weeks from artwork approval
  • Shipping method: UK courier or pallet delivery, depending on quantity
  • Delivery address: confirmed at order stage

Once dispatched, delivery times depend on the courier service used. We will provide tracking details where available.

Tailored and Bespoke orders (international production)

Tailored and Bespoke orders are produced with our manufacturing partners in India. Shipping arrangements depend on the purchasing route agreed at order stage.

Indicative timelines:

  • Production: typically 4–6 weeks (Tailored) or 6–8 weeks (Bespoke)
  • Shipping:
    • Air freight: approximately 2 weeks
    • Sea freight: approximately 8 weeks

All timelines are estimates and may vary due to production schedules, shipping conditions, customs processes, or factors outside our control.

Shipping routes and responsibilities

Once your specification is agreed, one of the following shipping routes will apply:

Buy direct from manufacturer (FOB Kolkata)

  • The manufacturer invoices you directly.
  • You (or your freight partner) are responsible for shipping, customs clearance, duties, VAT and delivery.
  • Risk transfers according to FOB terms.

You import, SW2 manages the logistics

  • The manufacturer invoices you for the goods.
  • SW2 arranges shipping, clearance and delivery via our freight partner.
  • Freight and logistics costs are invoiced separately.
  • You remain the importer of record.

Full service via SW2 (UK landed)

  • SW2 manages production, shipping, customs and delivery end-to-end.
  • You receive a single UK invoice in GBP covering goods, freight and associated costs.
  • SW2 acts as the importer of record.

The agreed route will be confirmed in writing before production begins.

Customs, duties and VAT

Responsibility for customs duties, import VAT and clearance depends on the shipping route selected and will be clearly agreed in advance.

SW2 Creative is not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections, port congestion, or regulatory processes outside our control.

Delays and force majeure

Shipping timelines are estimates only. Delays may occur due to factors such as:

  • freight disruption
  • customs delays
  • port congestion
  • strikes or extreme weather
  • regulatory or governmental action

We will keep you informed if delays arise.

Delivery issues and damage

If your goods arrive damaged, incomplete or incorrect, you must notify us within 5 working days of delivery, providing photographs and details.

We will work with you and the relevant courier, freight partner or manufacturer to investigate and agree an appropriate resolution.
